what many of you think that is finally the moment for sakura to recognize naruto's love for her and love him back, might be actually her death penalty.
kishi has been slapping sakura in the face with the truth since the chapter where hinata risked her life for naruto
he used hinata, the plot (the stuff about sasuke) and sai for this, and right now she could be about to have her final walk to death, i will show you why i believe that it is pretty possible:
sakura knows that hinata loves naruto, she knows that hinata risked her ass to save him...
hinata has been drooling for naruto since the first chapters of the manga, and survived all what happened during the fight between naruto and pein, do you really think that kishi will just make it like "yay ok hinata's thing with naruto is over here", sure not, he just put it to rest while he fixes naruto's situation with sakura.
he is making it in parts, this was the first one: sakura realized that she is on hinata's path, that hinata loves naruto and that she proved this love
then comes the second:
he makes them getting the news that sasuke is in akatsuki and sakura in denial.
why was sakura in denial?
its clear that she still loves sasuke, and no, sai's talk wont change her feelings for him.
and then kishi used sai to complete the slap:
lets rephrase the facts in order:
1 - sakura realizes that hinata loves naruto;
2 - sakura discovers that sasuke is in akatsuki;
3 - sakura realizes how much pain she caused to naruto, making him go after sasuke while knowing that she loves sasuke and loving her;
and then comes this panel:
she looks exacly like how zabuza did here:
its the same reaction, the reaction of somebody that heard enough to regret and want to do something about it even if it means his death
she is totally depressive and about to do something
what is left for her? will she give up on sasuke and decide to stay with naruto now that she knows that hinata loves him and risked her life for him? and even if she goes to naruto now and tell him to give up about sasuke even if she is against it deep inside, how can she end up with sasuke when naruto was the one that cared about her, that loved her and did everything for her?
thats why i believe that sakura's death is pretty possible right now, she would die trying to do something to redeem herself :0...
BUT ONE MORE MOST INMPORTANT THING KISHIMOTO IS A WEAKLING IN KILLING(OR MAKE THEM DIE) GOOD CHARACTERS.
SO I THINK SHE HAVE 80% CHANCE OF SURVIVE IT.

hmm, i don't know what to say to this. (btw, i was the one who talked about the possibility of sasukes death on the masashi's interview one). i really hope sakura doesn't die, but if she's not the one who dies (which i'm counting on), as to what you said about the chance of sakura being with sasuke being slim, i have to comment that another thing that's been said about masashi kishimoto is that at times when characters say things that may otherwise be seen as simple, they can have a different, more complex, meaning to it. i know that what i'm saying probably doesn't make much sense, but my point is that if masashi really does make them have more complex meaning behind what they say, then someone like sasuke (who's feelings are allready for the most part difficult to decipher) might say things that seem simple, but those things just might mean a bit more. i'm going to use the example of when he said that thank you to sakura before he left konoha, after she said she loved him. i don't know and can't completely say what he was thinking then, but you see how sasuke can now appear aggresive and be intimidating enough to have people fear for their lives, but we still know that he's super compassionate when it comes to taking the lives of the innocent. ok, so right about now, what i'm saying is probably useless rambling, but still. i still think it's a possibility he could be with sakura.
ummmmmmmmm.. no i dont think so that sakura will die.. as tsunade is in comma and after shizune she is the only medical ninja who can become strong enough as compare to tsunade.....
i don't think sakura gonna die in the story, but im pretty sure sakura still love sasuke, maybe she also love naruto, but she love sasuke more....sasuke eaten up hatred, but remember, it was sakura who stopped him being in his curse stage during the chunnin exam at the forest.
well, this is a prety damn good preview, i addmit i thought at this all along... i still have doubts about sakura's death... I think she will never be with naruto, i think history will repeat itself, meaning the team Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke will follow the same path their masters did (Sasuke-Orochimaru, Sakura-Tsunade, Naruto-Jiraya). There were the exactly the same relations, tsunade had more respect for orochimaru, Jiraya loved Tsunade, the competition between orochimaru and jiraya, the fact that orochimaru had to leave the village to achieve his goal, etc... there are many similarities between the two generations. i think that maybe kishimoto will try to elude this think, but i dont know for sure that he will do it or if he prefere this unhappy ending. The fact that the ninja world is a world full of unhappy endings, it still is very deceiving, so as a final prediction i dont think naruto will change it, i think sakura will depart from the team and end up like tsunade, and that Sasuke will become a villain or at least wont be at the same side with naruto, even though naruto will never throw their bond, sasuke will never come back, because of his nature, of what he became. i think that he will decay even more. for my happy ending Naruto+Hinata and Sasuke alone, and maybe Sakura (if she survive) alone or with someone... sai or kin lee or someone without much importance

all i could say kishi's playin u ppl like a video game and his winnin..lol there will be no couples especially naruto+hinata...lol...and sasuke+sakura and stop usin dat curse seal crap i mean who wants a annoyin girl 2 cry on dem ....plz dat excuse was so last year
I hope she dies shes a crap character, annoying like hell and just get rid off her, i always hated sakura and sasuke from the very first moment they entered, naruto deserved a much better team then those 2 plonkers, a team of shikamaru ino and naruto would be better
I must agree with anonymous I don't like either Sakura or sasuke but if you have read recently Sakura has told Naruto that she liked him and then YES!!! He rejected her because he knows that she is lieing. Then she goes sfter Sasuke to kill him she is a horrible person.
Sakura's just an estereotypical weak female character. When u think she's growing up, she goes and messes things up even more. She's physically strong, but is a total weakling on the inside. Always being saved by her teammates. What an annoying character! Even Hinata surpassed her. I hope Sakura dies.
i completely agree with you all..sakura is a ridiculously irrelevant character, she doesn't give anything to the story and just cries and whines about her own problems like they are the biggest things in the world despite the fact that she is on a team with naruto and sasuke who have way bigger problems!she just acts like a stupid idiot all the time and it would have made no difference if she died at the start as she's useless...i mean for gods sake she's a NINJA! she doesnt deserve to be a ninja she's more reminiscint of a high school girl only interseted in gossip. i dont really know wether or not she will die and i dont really care seein as i dont and never will read the manga but i just felt like sharing my opinion of her.
wow your good. I really hope she doesn't die though. I mean she's a complete idiot for STILL being in love with Sasuke. What i am REALLY REALLY!!! hoping for is for her to end up with Naruto. Hinata can..go marry a hobo or something, but Naruto's for Sakura :) (I HOPE!)
